He was the son of the late&bsp; Bobby Sr. and Annie Jackson.

He is survived by two sisters, Johnnie Belle Mullins of Landrum,&bsp; and Mary Jackson of Columbus.

He is also survived by his wife, Evangelist Mamie Jackson. They were married in January, 1952. They have seven children: Diane Canady of Green Creek, Bobby N. Jackson of Spartanburg, Mark Jackson of Green Creek, Getties L. Jackson Sr., of Greenville, S.C., Caroline Cannon of Landrum, Bonita Davis of Greer, S.C., and Wanda Hilliard of Duncan, S.C. They have 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 at the New Birth Greenville, 3315 Brushy Creek Road, Greer, S.C. at 2 p.m.

Burial was in the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 14, Columbus, N.C.

Cannon and Sons Mortuary of Landrum was in charge of arrangements.
