She was married to Edward Peters and was a homemaker and member of Big Level Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Charles Harbert of Kentucky; two daughters, Carol Cooper of Florida and Lisa Raines of Mill Spring; nine grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Doyle and Emily Cooper, Paige Peters, Tristan Raines and Sierra Bradley and Landen and Karmen Harbert.

Funeral services were held Monday at Big Level Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Robert Orr. Burial was in the church cemetery.
