Laura Weigt

Born in Detroit, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Gustave Fuhrman and Elizabeth Mueller Fuhrman. Laura belonged to the Tryon Painters & Sculptors, was an amateur astrologer for 50 years, winner of awards in oil paintings, sculptures, gems, was an artist and gemologist.

She is survived by: two sons, Earl Weigt (Frances) of Lima, Ohio and Harley Weigt (Dorothy) of Stuart, Fla.; six grandchildren, Lee (Anne) of Edgewater, Mary.; Laurie (Don) of Lima, Ohio; Larry of Vaughnsville, Ohio; Lorne (Michelle) of Columbus, Ohio; PennySue (Steve) of Lake worth, Fla. and Ralph of Marengo, Ill., and special friends Valerie and Doug Thompson of Tryon. Also surviving are 15 great-grandchildren and one great step-grandchild and six great-great step-grandchildren.&bsp; She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers; Ruth, Lucille, Harold and Norman.
