Bill Jr. was a native of Spartanburg County, son of the late William and Addie Logan Wilkins.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: one son, Edward Wilkins Jr. of Queens, N.Y.; two daughters, Peggy Cottingham of Spartanburg and Deborah Bayne of Manhattan, N.Y.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at 1 p.m. in St. Luke Baptist Church, Landrum.

Cannon & Sons Mortuary of Landrum is in charge of arrangements.
