He was the son of the late Hydern and Sophia Matthews Price and husband of Betty Lucille Campbell Price.

He was retired from textiles.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Billy Price of Blue Ridge and Ray and Ricky Price both of Campobello; a daughter, Wanda Johnson of Campobello; a brother, Leonard Price of Gaffney; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bible Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Tommy Turner and Rev. Bill Walker. Burial wil be in Redeemed Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family is at the home of Ray Price, 910 Halls Bridge Road, Campobello.
