Survivors include two sons, Timothy McDade of Brunswick, William Glenn McDade of Inman, stepson Russell Bennett of Atkinson, Ga.; two daughters, Tracie McDade and Teresa McDade Raines, both of Brunswick; two brothers, Clifford McDade of Green Creek and Chalmers McDade of Boiling Springs, S.C.; a sister, Shirley Burrell of Green Creek and 11 grandchildren.

A native of North Carolina, he had lived in Brunswick since 1969. He was retired from Harvey Construction, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Hospice of the Golden Isles.

Chapman Funeral Chapel and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
