Born March 21, 1923, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late William Belton and Bertie Kendrick Blackwood. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a son, Robert &dquo;Bobby&dquo; Hall and his wife Gail of Campobello; a daughter, Janice Burnett of Spartanburg; a brother, Harry K. Blackwood of Boiling Springs; and a sister, Mary Jo Dodd of Chesapeake, Va., formerly of Spartanburg. She was predeceased by four sisters and one brother.

Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Floyd&squo;s Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. at the chapel, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Hank Williams. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
