She was a native of Saluda and daughter of Dorothy Summey and Warrior Pace.

Survived by brothers, Austin, Walden (Shorty), Preston and John Dale Pace; sisters, Louise Wood and Myra Rhodes; children, Carol, Patti, Debbie, Linda, Buddy, Bob, KasSandra, Sharon and Judy&squo; 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers LD and Jullian and sister Myrtle Gordon.

A memorial service is being held on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Saluda. A picnic supper will be held following the service.
