Lillie Huggins

Mrs. Huggins was born in Spartanburg County on Sept. 24, 1916, the daughter of the late John Carl and Fannie Mae (Camp) Reaves. She was the widow of Joseph Melvin Huggins, retired from Inman Mills and was a member of the Inman Church of God.

She is survived by four daughters, Linda Gail Huggins of Inman, Josephine Thomas of Spartanburg, Mary Beckley of Greer, Vickie Fernandez of Campobello, two sisters, Annie Lee Messer, Susie Coley, both of Inman; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A grandchild predeceased her.

A going home celebration will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2008, with Rev Randy Lewis and Rev. Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer.

The family is at the home of her daughter Linda, 6 Church Street, Apartment 162, Inman.
