He was the son of Ron and Dale Atkins Bennett of the home.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Bradley Oneal Bennett of Inman; a sister, Elizabeth Hope Bennett of the home; and his maternal grandmother, Nell Atkins of Landrum.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church&bsp; Cemetery, conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Billy Bennett&squo;s memory to P.O. Box 368, Landrum, S.C. 29356.
