Mrs. Taylor was born in Campobello on April 26, 1922, the daughter of the late Buford G. and Ora Magdalene (Cook) Taylor, and was the widow of Horace Albert Taylor. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Rita Hurley of Gasburg, Va.; two sons, Paul Harold Taylor of Moore and Donald Taylor of Spartanburg; two sisters, Lou Sarah Wilson of Spartanburg and Shelby Jean Jackson of Wellford. There are seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Seawright Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, with Rev. Frank Bryant officiating.

The family is at their respective homes and will receive friends Friday one hour before the service at the funeral home. The interment will be private.
