Donald Creeser

Born Jan. 8, 1927 in Pretoria, South Africa to Walter and Madge Creeser, Donald married Hazel Cullingworth in Durban, South Africa in 1956. Together they lived in many countries due to his work with Mobil Oil. Donald and his wife became citizens of the United States in 1975. They retired to Tryon in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel, his three children, Brett (Tami) of Dallas, Texas, Karen (Andy) of Madison, Wis., and Gregory (Giselle) of McLean, Va. Also surviving are eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross in Tryon, with&bsp; the Rev. Dr. Michael Doty officiating.
