He was the brother of Taylor, Austin and Gracie Stapleton of the home; paternal grandparents, Rhonda Stacey of Chesnee, Kenneth Stacey of Campobello; maternal grandparents, Carole & Julian Stapleton of Kannapolis, N.C.

Funeral services were held Saturday, July 5 at Foothills Community Church, conducted by Rev. Tommy Turner and Rev. Steve Foster. Burial was in the church cemetery.
