He was the son of the late Carl Robert and Lula Ray Burrell and husband of the late Jerrill Waddell Burrell.

He is survived by two daughters, Stacey Tucker of Chesnee and Misty Painter of Inman; a stepson, Mike Constance of Campobello; a brother, Herbert Burrell of Landrum; seven grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

Graveside services were held July 8, 2008 at Landrum Cemetery.

Petty Funeral Home and Crematory of Landrum is in charge of arrangements.
