He was a native of Polk County, and the son of Mrs. Corrine Crawford Brown of Virginia and the late Dock Cunningham.

Dennis leaves to cherish fond memories, along with his mother, two sons, two brothers and three sisters, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 3 at 3 p.m. in the Garrison Chapel Baptist Church in Tryon.
