Sisters open custom embroidery firm in Tryon

K2 Accents LLC is a new business located in Tryon, owned by sisters Kathy Cunha and Karen DiStefano. Their shop features custom embroidery and shirt printing, as well as apparel decorated with heat transfers. Custom orders can be made for businesses, sport teams, church groups, school events, etc. They also have caps and visors, bags and totes, to name a few.

The Asheville Regional Airport Authority has unveiled new Regional Boarding Ramps (RBRs) and B-Gate improvements. The $1.3 million project was constructed over the past year and will serve to upgrade the boarding process for passengers. The airport was built in 1961 and currently serves 11 surrounding counties.
