Frank Wright Neal III

Mr. Neal was born in Augusta, Ga. on June 28, 1941, the son of the late Frank Wright Neal Jr. and Katherine Scott Neal. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Mr. Neal loved his family, fishing, hunting, racing, and bluegrass music. He was a member of Woodlawn United Methodist Church in Augusta. He retired from Owens Coming Fiberglass and was also the owner and operator of Neal Contracting.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Mayo Neal of Campobello; three sons, Brian Neal of Campobello, Chris Neal of Inman, Franky Neal of Inman; and one daughter, Kathy Osborne of Clover, S.C.; two brothers, David Neal of Lakeland, Fla., Scott Neal of Augusta; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Frank Wright Neal IV and a brother, Fred Neal.

A memorial service will be held at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, S.C., at 6 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2008 with Dr. Michael Hamlet and Chaplain Deon Louw officiating.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Monday from 4-6 p.m. at Seawright Funeral Home.
