He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 118th Infantry, South Carolina Army National Guard, Fountain Inn, S.C., and attached to the 2nd Squadron, 101st Cavalry, New York Army National Guard. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years.

He was the son of Gary and Miriam Leimbach of Oviedo, Fla., and is survived by his wife Dawn, his brother, Jeffrey, and his sister, Linda Skilton.

The family received friends from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Monday at Petty Funeral Home with funeral services at 12 p.m. in the chapel, conducted by Chaplain Steve Shugart. A graveside service was be held at 3 p.m. at M.J. &dquo;Dolly&dquo; Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.
