She was a native of Anderson County and a daughter of the late Robert Lee Harrison and Estelle Leach Harrison.

She was a retired dietitian at Carolina High School.

Mrs. Yown was a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Rowley Yown Sr. in 1984. She is survived by her sons, James Rowley Yown Jr.&bsp; of Lyman and Rev. Dr. William Robert Yown of Campobello; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be

at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Holston Creek Baptist Church in Inman, with Rev. Reggie Parker and Rev. David Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time.
