Mr. Stacey was a native of Spartanburg County and a son of the late Harvey and Mary Barnett Stacy. He was retired from Spartanburg Steel and was a member of Annointed Community Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons Wayne Stacey of Inman, Kenneth Stacey of Campobello, Douglas Stacey of Inman; daughters, Mary Stacey of Inman, Elaine Stacey-Black of Spartanburg; brother, Eddie Stacy of Forest City; sisters, Marie Hensley and Martha Blanton of Bostic, N.C., Barbara Waddell and Ruth Weeks of Spartanburg; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 19, 2 p.m., in the funeral chapel at Eggers Funeral Home of Boiling Springs. Rev. Johnny Jackson and Rev. Steve Foster officiated. Interment was in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
