Myrtle Jackson

Mrs. Jackson was born in Landrum on July 27, 1916, the daughter of the late Nathan L. &uot;Bep&uot; and Jane (Flynn) Turner.

She was the widow of Thomas Franklyn Jackson, a homemaker and a member of Gramling United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Louise Gowan of Inman and Shirley Settle of Inman; two sons, Thomas F. &uot;Tony&uot; Jackson of Boiling Springs and Nathan Jackson of Spartanburg; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a granddaughter: Rhonda Lee Settle.

Funeral services were held at Seawright Funeral Chapel, Inman, at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 with Rev. David Caughman officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Inman.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gramling United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 58, Gramling, S.C. 29348.
