A native of Paris, Ky., Edwards was the daughter of Robert Traylor of Paris and the late Jewel Reed Traylor Waugh. She was an employee of Alarm Monitoring and a member of Christian Heritage Church. Her first husband was the late Grayson Godfrey.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are her step-dad Billy Waugh of Lyman; husband Tim Edwards of Greer; two daughters, Lisa Aiken of Wellford and Brooke Godfrey of Greer; two brothers, Tracy Waugh of Lyman and Robert Traylor of Paris, Ky.; four sisters, Glenda Baker of Lyman, Bonnie Marler of Greer, Billie Jo Shifflett of Campobello and Jackie Lister of Lyman; three sisters in Kentucky and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at Christian Heritage Church, conducted by Rev. Ernest Barr and Rev. Bradley Cox. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 19 at Wood Mortuary.
