Born in Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Harriett Scott Christiansen. She moved to Tryon in 1981 coming from South Florida. She enjoyed taking care of people and music. Ms. Gallo was an LPN Nurse with Home Health. &bsp;

Surviving include her companion, John McSwain of the home. One daughter, Dawn G. Blanton of Tryon. Three sisters, Debbie DeNicola of Torrington, Conn., Harriett Colucci of Dania, Fla., and Lynn Servideo of Naples, Fla.&bsp; Also surviving are two grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held on March 22, 2008 at 3 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Dawn G. Blanton, 1850 Hwy. 176, Tryon.
