Mrs. Smith was born in Campobello on Feb. 20, 1929, the daughter of the late Charles Frank and Lora Cooke. She was the widow of Hamish &uot;Dick&uot; Neal Smith.

She is survived by one daughter, Janice S. Taylor of Inman; one brother, Calvin Cooke of Inman; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Marvin and Alvin Cooke.

She retired from Delta-Woodside Co. and was a member of Apalache Baptist Church, where she was a choir member.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, March 8 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Greer, conducted by Rev. Hershel Crain and Rev. Eddie Cooper.
