Trey was a native of Spartanburg County; he is the son of Alfreda G. James of Spartanburg and Calvin James Jr. of Tarpon Springs, FL.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Frances Moore of Landrum; aunt, Marie Moore of Myrtle Beach; two sisters of New York; one brother of St. Augustine, Fla.; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Landrum Spring Baptist Church, 313 North Randolph Avenue, Landrum. Burial will be at the Mills Chapel Cemetery.

The family is at the home of Frances Moore.

Cannon and Sons Mortuary of Landrum is in charge of arrangements.
