The North Carolina Coastal Federation debuted a new specialty NC COAST license plate earlier this month that is designed for people who love the coast’s special places, all the way from Currituck to Brunswick County.

Purchasing an NC COAST license plate supports the federation’s restoration, advocacy and education work. In the past, funds from the plates have helped the federation increase its outreach programs, launch its news service Coastal Review Online and restore habitat through planting grasses and trees.
