Unity in the Community plans annual summer camp

The Unity in the Community organization is planning its annual summer enrichment camp for youth ages 8-16. The camp will be held June 26–30 at the G. Riddle Hall, Zion Grove Church, 5620 Pea Ridge Rd., Rutherfordton, N.C., from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.

John Paul McEntyre, curriculum support teacher at Polk County High School, will return as the camp director, along with other educators and community volunteers. The camp will include educational activities, art and crafts, field trips and recreational activities. Breakfast, lunch and snack will be served.

Pre-registration will held on June 20, 5-7 p.m. at the camp location, or you can register the opening day of the camp. For more information call 828-289-0495.
