Drivers on Hwy. 108 in Lynn Thursday morning noticed a recent addition to a controversial billboard located by the Skyuka Rd. intersection. The graffiti references Paul’s epistle to the Galatians, Chapter 6:7. The organization PlantingPeace.org placed the billboard in response to the North Carolina legislature’s passing of HB2, known widely for its bathroom provision. The Bulletin placed a photo of the billboard on its Facebook page on April 9 and it received more than 5,000 shares and reached 606,000 people, generating local, regional, national and international news coverage.
