Betty Cowan Smith, 70, of Landrum died April 8, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Marie Lashua and Lee Cowan, and wife of Mickey Smith.

 

She was a hairdresser and beloved wife, mother, “Mema” and sister.

 

She is survived by her husband Mickey Smith, two sons, Baron Smith (Michelle) and Travis Smith, one brother Bobby Cowan, two sisters, Carol Cowan, Penny Honeycutt, and three Grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Sophia and Connor Smith. Betty was predeceased by a sister, Jean Yonce.
