Mikki Elaine Jackson, 53, of Columbus, N.C. passed away Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Columbus, N.C.

Born in Tryon, N.C., she was daughter of Reverend Jerry Jackson of Mill Spring and the late Joyce Brown Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brother Thomas Keith Jackson. Mikki has been a lifelong resident of Polk County and a member of Grassy Knob Church.

In addition to her father, Mikki is survived by her companion, Arnold Gibbs of Columbus; two daughters, Tasha Epps of Chesnee, S.C. and Dana Mosseller of Green Creek; and three brothers, Jerry Jackson, Jr. of Mill Spring, Volley Lewis Jackson of Green Creek and Mark Kevin Jackson of Saluda. Mikki is also survived by three grandchildren, Jonah Epps, Jadyn Epps and Braelin Mosseller.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at Grassy Knob Church, Mill Spring, N.C. with Reverend Jerry Jackson and Reverend Lewis Jackson officiating.

Family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
