Polk County Dispatch has announced that US Hwy 176 will remain closed until Monday, Dec. 7 between Bear Creek Lane (Saluda side) and 3910 Hwy. 176 (Tryon side) due to the mud slide ad the potential for additional slides.
Traffic is advised to take Interstate 26 in the meantime.
