Polk County Superior Court results for Nov. 16

In Polk County Criminal Superior Court the week of Nov. 16, 2015, with Judge Mark E. Powell presiding, 10 trials and 65 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Andres Cao Jr. was convicted of breaking and or entering and larceny. Cao was sentenced to 21 days in jail with credit for time served.

Phillip Brian Hicks was convicted of probation violation. Hicks’ probation was terminated.

Matthew Bryant Martin was convicted of obstructing justice. Martin was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.

Zachery Shehan was convicted of solicit child by computer and three counts of statutory rape. Shehan was sentenced to 240-348 months in prison.
