Last Friday, 15 life-sized fiberglass horses arrived by tractor-trailer to Tryon, where they were unloaded and taken by various horse trailers to area artists who will paint the horses. As part of a large public art project led by Our Carolina Foothills, the painted horses will be “adopted” at a fundraiser in the spring.
