Landrum scored 21 points against Blacksburg on Friday, Oct. 16, but the Cardinals fell short, as the Wildcats defeated Landrum, 49-21, in a conference football contest at Blacksburg.  The Cardinals are now 3-5 overall, and 1-4 in the conference, while Blacksburg advanced to 4-4 and 2-3, respectively.

For the Cardinals, Anthony Anderson rushed for one touchdown, Dalton Kuykendall for another, and Peyton Kemmerlin threw a pass to Rashaun Brown for a 65-yard TD.  “Just too many mistakes to win the game,” commented Cardinal’s head coach Jason Farmer.

This Friday, Oct. 23, the Cardinals will host powerhouse and conference rival Woodruff. The Wolverines will enter Cardinal Stadium at 7-1 overall, and 5-0 in the region.
