Mr. Heywood Hannon, 83, of Markham Road in Tryon, N.C., died Sept. 29, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Asheville, N.C. Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Garrison Chapel in Tryon. He is survived by his children Jamal (Nessie) Hannon of Forest City, N.C., Jerome (Levon) Hannon of Payton, Ohio, and Angela H. Littlejohn of Tryon, N.C. Thompson Mortuary of Forest City, N.C. is serving the family.
