Polk County District Court results for Aug. 26 & Aug. 31

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 134 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jacob Crawford Adkison was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Adkison was fined $40 and court costs.

Daniel Jay Dyer was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Dyer was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Ryan Clifford Gilmore was convicted of possession of stolen goods. Gilmore was to pay court costs.

Natalie Scott Goodson was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Goodson was fined $40 and court costs.

Comet Iles III was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Iles was fined $40 and court costs.

Jamie McCarter Lewis was convicted of two counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Lewis was fined $100 and court costs.

Kyle James Louer was convicted of resisting public officer. Louer was sentenced to one day in jail and court costs.

Michael Terrance Louer was convicted of resisting public officer. Louer was sentenced to one day in jail and court costs.

Jimmie Woodrow Norris was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Norris was fined $40 and court costs.

Gregory Wayne Sellrse was convicted of possess/consume alcoholic beverage. Sellrse was fined $25 and court costs.

Mellisson Jannae Tate was convicted of failure to appear. Tate was sentenced to six days in jail with credit and court costs.

Geoffrey Lee Templeton was convicted of driving while impaired-motor boat vessel. Templeton was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Matthew Kenneth Tifft was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Tifft was fined $40 and court costs.

Hoang Cong Tu was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Tu was fined $100 and court costs.

Edward R. Vandegrift was convicted of possession/consumption beer/wine on unauthorized premise. Vandegrift was fined $100 and court costs.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Abdulelah F. Aleidan was convicted of speeding 108 mph in a 65 mph zone. Aleidan was fined $100 and court costs.

Brooke Caitlyn Blanton was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Blanton was fined $92 and court costs.

Rhett Nelson Boheler was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Boheler was fined $50 and court costs.

Jeremy Wayne Bowles was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bowles was fined $91 and court costs.

Frederick Scott Bruce was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bruce was fined $95 and court costs.

Casey L. Burnett was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Burnett was fined $40 and court costs.

Brian Matthew Fletcher was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Fletcher was fined $92 and court costs.

Ronald Chad Franklin was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Franklin was fined $30 and court costs.

Melissa L. Levesque was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Levesque was fined $93 and court costs.
