Sunny View Firefighter Marty McGuinn recently earned a certificate in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, Ala. McGuinn completed courses in fire science such as principles of fire and emergency services, legal aspects of fire protections, management of fire incident command systems, fire investigation and analysis and terrorism incident management and emergency procedures. McGuinn is currently a senior in Columbia Southern’s online bachelor degree program.  He is majoring in fire department administration with a concentration in fire investigation.
