Polk County District Court results for July 22

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, with Judge Athena Brooks presiding, 105 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Gary Everette Bacon was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Bacon was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Alicia Kate Baston was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Baston was fined $40 and court costs.

Laura McCraw Brown was convicted of carrying a concealed gun. Brown was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $150 fine and court costs. Michael Allen Carter was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Carter was fined $50 and court costs.

David Lewis Friday was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Friday was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Juan Leon Gutierrez was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gutierrez was fined $94 and court costs.

Rory M. Isaac II was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Isaac was fined $50 and court costs.

George K. Littlejohn was convicted of second-degree trespass. Littlejohn was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit and court costs.

George T. Partdridge was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Partdridge was fined $50 and court costs.

Donald Dean Rabon was convicted of fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag. Rabon was to pay court costs.

Wesley Taylor Sessoms was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Sessoms was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Erin N. Southerland was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Southerland was fined $40 and court costs.
