Lake Lanier held its annual boat parade on Saturday, July 4 with 11 decorated boats and three paddle boards participating. This was the most participation in recent years. All participants received a prize for participating with the top three winners receiving gift certificates. Winners included first place to the Rogers’ family, second place to the Vanderkwaak family and third place to the three paddle boarders: Lydia Junger, Jenny Surrett and Jennifer Corpening.
