Book signing at The Book Shelf

Susan McNabb will be at The Book Shelf in Tryon signing copies of her latest book, The Complete Tryon Diary, on Wednesday, July 8 from 4:30-6 p.m.

McNabb had written the weekly column, “Tryon Diary,” in the Tryon Daily Bulletin since June of 2014, but recently ended the column.

“I’d planned to publish a book of columns every year, but you know what happens when we make plans,” McNabb says. An unexpected job opportunity for her husband Paul McMinn is moving the couple to Phoenix. “But, we’ll be back,” McNabb promises.

In January, McNabb published her 2014 columns in Tryon Diary: Tales from the Friendliest Town in the South. The new book, The Complete Tryon Diary, includes those columns plus the 2015 columns.

McNabb is co-founder of Tryon Writers and a member of the North Carolina Writers Network and often reads her work at Tryon’s monthly Literary Open Stage. Her story on local novelist Mark Schweizer can be found in the current issue of Life in Our Foothills.
