Columbus Fire Department holding BBQ, gospel sing

The 42nd annual Columbus Fire Department BBQ and gospel sing will be held June 30-July 3 at 7 p.m. each night at Veterans Park, 60 Gibson St., in Columbus, N.C. BBQ, hamburgers, hot dogs and baked goods will be sold each night to benefit the fire department.

On June 30, the musical lineup includes the Atkins Family, Phillips Family, Wells of Joy and the Mintz Family.

On July 1, the musical lineup includes Crossfire, Chosen, Masters Singers and Foothills Mennonite Men’s Choir.

Thursday, July 2 is bluegrass night and will feature The Principles, Colt Creek, King James boys, Golden Valley Crusaders and Joyful Noise.

Mike Upright, The Griffins, Bryan Burchfeild and The Watkins Family are planned for Friday, July 3.
