Polk County District Court results for May 20

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 183 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Mitchell F. Bolling was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Bolling was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.

Joshua Allard Brigman was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Brigman was to pay court costs.

Ryan Vance Burrell was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Burrell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Bryan Steven Chandler was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Chandler was fined $50 and court costs.

Enrique A. Cordova was convicted of no operator’s license. Cordova was fined $20 and court costs.

Keith Alton Dill was convicted of level five driving while impaired and open container after consumption of alcohol first. Dill was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $125 in fines and court costs.

Donald James Heaton Jr. was convicted of misdemeanor possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Heaton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.

Marchela A. Littlejohn was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Littlejohn was fined $25 and court costs.

Montoya Maxwell was convicted of possession/manufacture fraudulent ID. Maxwell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Mauricio Maya-Rojas was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation and speeding 100 mph in a 65 mph zone. Maya-Rojas was fined $250 and court costs.

Nichol Dawn Michaels was convicted of impaired equipment. Michaels was fined $40 and court costs.

Carolyn Renee Proctor was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Proctor was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served.

Alma Rosa Sagrero was convicted of no operator’s license. Sagrero was to pay court costs.

Lisa Shannon Sheehan was convicted of larceny by trick and financial card theft. Sheehan was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.

Vichay Siravantha was convicted of impaired equipment. Siravantha was fined $40 and court costs.

Angela E. Spicocchi was convicted of impaired equipment. Spicocchi was fined $40 and court costs.

Jamey Lee Stansberry was convicted of impaired equipment. Stansberry was fined $40 and court costs.

Herman Todd Tillman was convicted of impaired equipment. Tillman was fined $40 and court costs.

Lance Jordan Turner was convicted of carrying a concealed weapon. Turner was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
