Polk County District Court results for May 13

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 157 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Shakeem Tarro-J Barnes was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Barnes was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Terry Lynn Burnett was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Burnett was fined $100 and court costs.

Kristy C. Cox was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cox was fined $90 and court costs.

Dillon James Deck was convicted of two counts of level two driving while impaired. Deck was sentenced to one year supervised probation, 20 days in jail with credit, a $200 fine and court costs.

Thomas Alan Dembicki was convicted of reckless driving to endanger and failure to report accident. Dembicki was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.

Luke William Hernandez was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Hernandez was fined $100 and court costs.

Austin Taylor Horton was convicted of level five driving while impaired and driving after consuming under age 21. Horton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, $100 in fines and court costs.

Gabriella Anita Leal was convicted of possession/manufacture fraudulent ID. Leal was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Kimberlyn McLaughlin was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. McLaughlin was fined $93 and court costs.

James Russell Mills was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Mills was fined $100 and court costs.

Derek Lee Mulkey was convicted of failure to maintain lane control. Mulkey was fined $50 and court costs.

Jose Luis Perdome was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce. Persomo was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Mazariegos Yony Mazariegos was convicted of poss/manufacture fraudulent ID. Mazariegos was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Tammy Lynne Peterson was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Peterson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Malynne McLenn Petoia was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Petoia was fined $30 and court costs.

Krystal Ramos was convicted of speeding 84 mph in a 70 mph zone. Ramos was fined $95 and court costs.

Tana Deann Tapp was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Tapp was fined $50 and court costs.
