Polk County District Court results for April 8

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 175 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Jason Mitchel Abdalla was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Abdalla was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Wesley Gerald Anderson was convicted of obtaining property under false pretenses. Anderson was sentenced to seven-18 months in prison.

Morgan Lucien Baudean was convicted of speeding 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. Baudean was fined $30 and court costs.

Dustin Wayne Bentley was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bentley was fined $30 and court costs.

Bradley Wayne Bunn was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Bunn was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.

Earnest Charles Haynes was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Haynes was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Philip Graham Johnson was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Johnson was fined $200 and court costs.

Joan Wooldridge Koob was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Koob was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Miles Patrick Lynch was convicted of failure to wear seat belt-rear seat. Lynch was fined $50 and court costs.

Delores Mixs Matthews was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Matthews was fined $20 and court costs.

Cesar Omar Nie Montoya was convicted of impaired equipment. Montoya was fined $40 and court costs.

Ivan Morales Moreno was convicted of no operator’s license. Moreno was to pay court costs.

Trent Ira Ragin was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Ragin was to pay court costs.

Nicholas Charles Riddle was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Riddle was to pay court costs.

Robert Thomas Rommeney was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Rommeney was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Yonas Teclay Tsegai was convicted of impaired equipment. Tsegai was fined $40 and court costs.

Gary Brandon Williams was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Williams was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
