TPS celebrates grand opening

Tryon Painters and Sculptors celebrated the grand opening March 7 of their new gallery and studio space at 78 North Trade St. in Tryon with a ribbon cutting ceremony and gala reception. The capacity crowd enjoyed artworks by guest artists Bill and Ann Jamison and featured member artists Karen Johnston, Maxine Tatreau, Lori Heckelman and Jim Greene. The celebration continues through April 18 with a gallery show as well as free prize drawings for paintings and sculptures.
