Move over, Frosty …

After morning chores on Blue Harvest Farm, Maya, 15, and Foster, 11, Plantamura wanted to take advantage of the quickly melting snow by sculpting this 15-footlong, 3-foot-high dragon named Kija. What started as a few giant snowballs, the white snow dragon took about three hours to build and provided a good amount of outdoor exercise including numerous trips up and down the hills on the property to shovel enough snow to complete the sculpture. The name Kija was inspired by a Japanese anime character in “Yona of the Dawn” who is also known as the white dragon. “Building snow,” said Dean Plantamura, “is a fairly rare thing on their farm so they were happy to have this opportunity to play!” (Submitted by Dean Plantamura )
