The Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross is delighted to be the host venue for the Tryon Concert Association’s concert on Feb. 7 at 8 p.m. featuring organist Paul Jacobs.  Holy Cross has a proud and long-standing tradition of promoting fine music programs within the parish and for the wider community.

Holy Cross cordially invites you to a gala dinner on the evening of Feb. 7 prior to the concert featuring Mr. Jacobs.  The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Holy Cross Parish Hall and will feature a tossed salad of fresh field greens, classic beef bourguignon, buttery noodles, crisp asparagus, and Baton Rouge bread pudding for dessert. Our chef, Geoff Carey, from the Waldorf Astoria Boca Raton Resort and Club is leading the effort for the evening’s event.

Tickets will be available for advance purchase at $20 each. Wine will be available at a cash bar for $4 per glass. Seating will be limited, tickets are selling quickly.

You may call the church office at 828-859-9741 during normal office hours Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to make a reservation or you may stop by the office during those same hours to purchase tickets. Tickets must be picked up and paid with cash or check by January 30. Tickets that are reserved but not picked up by the deadline of January 30 will be released. Released tickets will be available for purchase in person at the church office on Feb. 2-4. There will be no tickets available at the door on the evening of the dinner.

All proceeds from the dinner will benefit the Holy Cross music program.
