Polk County District Court results January 14

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2015, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 141 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Lavin Paul Cuddihee was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Cuddihee was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Joshua Clinton Dorsey was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Dorsey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Richard Tyler Ellis was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Ellis was fined $50 and court costs.

Jeffrey Scott Foster was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Foster was sentenced to nine days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.

Mark Andew Gaver was convicted of impaired equipment. Gaver was fined $40 and court costs.

Emily Ann Gilbert was convicted of impaired equipment. Gilbert was fined $40 and court costs.

Daniel Pavlovi Girich was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Girich was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Mervin A. Hamilton was convicted of impaired equipment. Hamilton was fined $40 and court costs.

Paul Michael Hedgecock was convicted of impaired equipment. Hedgecock was fined $25 and court costs.

Joshua Thomas Matthews was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Matthews was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Leslie Alex Paul was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Paul was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.

Orellana R. Rodriguea was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Rodriguea was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Julian G. Rodriguez was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Rodriguez was to pay court costs.

Richard Carl Ruben was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Ruben was fined $30 and court costs.

Ralph Anthony Williams was convicted of impaired equipment. Williams was fined $50 and court costs.
