George Michael Tillotson, 39, of Saluda, N.C. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014 at Autumn Care of Saluda.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Jerry Michael and Ximena Berrios Tillotson of Marion, N.C. Mr. Tillotson moved to Polk County, N.C. in 1987 coming from Virginia Beach, Va. He was a creative artist and writer.

Surviving in addition to his parents are four sisters, Jessica Probst (Michael) of Mill Spring, N.C., Marie Woody of Marion, N.C., Samantha McDonald of Lynchburg, Va. and Gretchen Blair of Easley, S.C.; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Ophir Berrios of Spartanburg, S.C.
