The annual Christmas Spirit Fund is being conducted by the Landrum Lions Club to assist those in need in the local area. Each December businesses and individuals are asked to make financial donations to support the projects and assist those in need at Operation Hope in Landrum during the Christmas and holiday season.

President Paul Ayers shares that the needs of those who are experiencing hardships during our poor economy are many.

ìThe Landrum Lions Club members feel that now is the time that we step forward to provide assistance to these individuals. We should be thankful for the many blessings we have and for the opportunity to assist Operation Hope as they provide support to the needy. We encourage all citizens to participate,î said Ayers.
